Whether at home or on the road, your library is ready to satisfy your information needs. We still provide all the services you have come to expect, such as books, magazines and newspapers, but we've added so much more! You can go online and check your e-mail or favorite web sites, borrow video and audio-books, or delve into the electronic databases to find up-to-date information and full-text articles. All this and more is available to you at your local library, or at any of the 15 branches of the Eastern Oklahoma District Library System. Your EODLS library card is your ticket for service across the district. Don't have a card yet? Stop by your local library, apply for a card, and start your information adventure!

Services

Collection An EODLS library card provides access to books and other materials such as newspapers, magazines, videos and books on tape from any of the EODLS libraries. Materials may be sent to any branch library for pick-up by submitting a request by person, by phone, or online.

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) ILL provides access to books and materials that the library system does not own. Materials may be requested and received at any of the branch libraries.

Electronic Databases EODLS provides access to a wide variety of research and recreational databases.

Internet Access Computers with Internet access are available at each of the branch libraries.

District-wide Catalog EODLS maintains a comprehensive catalog of books and materials held in all of the branch libraries. The catalog can be searched either in the library or online through the district web page.

Programs Each branch library supports its community with programs such as literacy tutoring, children's programs and book discussions. Check with the library for schedules.

Special Resources Branch libraries maintain special collections to meet local interests such as local history and genealogy.

Wireless Internet Access EODLS provides free wireless Internet access for library users at all of its branch libraries.
